The Chicago Afrobeat Project is dedicated to breathing new life into a style of music that incorporates funk, rock, jazz, Afro-Cuban, high life and juju music into a single entity that gets the people out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. Call-and-response percussion songs showcase the complexity of the music and are prominently featured on the band’s newest album, (A) Move to Silent Unrest.
