It’s been a few months since our last Chicago show, but we’re finally back on it this weekend at one of our home bases, Martyrs’ on 3855 N. Lincoln Ave. The bandSubplane will be joining us. We’ve got several brand new songs for you, some as-of-yet never been unleashed upon Chicago ears which makes us excited. The show starts at 9:30 and advance tickets are available (you’ll save a few dollars if you buy them online before the show). Can’t wait!

For the first time since our early days back at The Note in Wicker Park, we’re bringing our NYE show to the northwest side for a two-stage NYE event at The Abbey Pub.

The “Chi-Town Meltdown” features an electric stage with us, Animate Objects and Van Gordon Martin. On the other side is an acoustic stage headlined by Sexfist and also with Old Shoe.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and there are VIP tix available for $60 with open bar, reserved seating and more.

With the event kicking off at 8 PM, this is going to be one to remember. We’ll see you on the other side… 2012!

We’re proud to announce that this Friday’s show on 11/25 in Chicago is now a part of the Rally at Reggies presented by Occupy Chicago and includes a performance from Chicago Afrobeat Project as well as JB-tribute Get Up With The Get Downs.

Tickets also include free bus transportation to/from the show at four different locations across the city. Beer is included on the bus from local brewery Half Acre.

DOORS: 8 PM
SHOWTIME: 9 PM

Bus Pick-up locations are as follows:

 

• Pick Up 1: 7:45 PM – Panchos (Logan Square – 2200 N. California)
• Pick Up 2: 8:00 PM – Big Star (Wicker Park – 1531 N. Damen)
• Pick Up 3: 8:15 PM – Occupy Chicago General Assembly (Loop – Michigan/Congress)
• Pick Up 4: 8:30 PM – Maria’s, with food provided before pick-up by MANBQUE (Pilsen – 960 W. 31st)
• Return Trip: Bus departs to four pick-up locations 15 minutes after show ends
