Ever extending its geographic reach, Chicago Afrobeat Project has booked three performances during the first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz Festival:
- Thursday, April 22: Maple Leaf
- Saturday, April 23: The Core at the State Palace Theater
- Sunday, April 24: CAbP Crawfish Boil Party

Thursday, the boys bring their funkified Afrobeat blend to the Maple Leaf, a pillar of the New Orleans jazz scene, as they open up for 2 sic featuring George Porter Jr. and David Torkanowski. Showtime starts at 9 p.m.
Then on Sarurday, The Core at the State Palace Theater hosts CAbP as they open for the Sam Kininger Band. Shotime is also 9 p.m.
Make sure you come hungry on Sunday as the band hosts the CAbP Crawfish Boil in Uptown New Orleans. The show begins at 4 p.m. Call 504.905.7862 for directions.

Percentage of Proceeds Benefit Journalists Against AIDS Nigeria
A portion of all proceeds from the CD Release Celebrations as well as the CD will be donated to Journalists Against AIDS Nigeria (JAAIDS), a non-profit organization based in Lagos, Nigeria that develops innovative communication strategies to help fight the spread of AIDS.
