Thank you for coming to the CD Release Celebrations!

We’d like to thank everyone who came out to our sold out CD Release Celebrations at Martyrs’. Performing for you was more fun than we could ever expect, and we are happy to provide JAAIDS a significant donation because of the event. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up your CD, you can buy it online at the CAbP store. Next up, we’re at The House Cafe (Fareed Haque’s club) in Dekalb, IL on Friday, December 3 and then a First Beat show at The Note on Saturday, December 4.

CAbP to be Featured on Chicago Public Radio’s “848”

On Friday, November 11, tune in to 91.5 FM at 10:30 a.m. CT to hear Kevin and Marshall interviewed on Chicago Public Radio’s daytime radio show “848.” Hear the guys field questions at the end of the show about the origins and future of CAbP, the new self-titled album and the CD Release Party on Saturday, November 12. You can listen online at http://www.wbez.org/audio_library/ram/livefeed/livefeed.ram.

CAbP to Donate Percentage of CD Sales to Journalists Against AIDS Nigeria

We in CAbP feel it’s important to give back to the community in which the source of our music began. As such, we will be donating a percentage of all CD sales of our new album to Journalists Against AIDS Nigeria (JAAIDS), a non-profit group based in Lagos, Nigeria that develops innovative communication programs to help battle AIDS in Nigeria.

In addition to donating a percentage of CD proceeds, we will also be donating a percentage of the proceeds from our CD Release Celebration on November 12, 2005. We are hopeful that a representative from JAAIDS can speak a bit about the organization, but we are still working on the logistics. We’ll keep you posted.
